Multidisciplinary team made up of biologists, chemists and veterinarians.

Aim: To study and develop cell therapy and musculoskeletal tissue engineering strategies as therapeutic tools for osteoarthritis, with a special focus on the search for treatment formulas for damaged cartilage using natural biomaterials or hybrid repairers.

This is the only clinical group in Galicia that participates in the Biomedical Research Centre Network – Bioengineering, Biomaterials and Nanomedicine (CIBER-BNN), promoted by the National Health Institute Carlos III.
